REASI, Sept 23: Office of the Assistant Regional Transport Officer, Reasi, organized a traffic awareness camp for students at Amba Kids School, Penthal.
More than one thousand students from various schools participated in the camp wherein officials of ARTO Reasi made them aware about the traffic rules and regulations. They advised students to remain alert while crossing road, boarding or de-boarding buses and never hang up on vehicles.
Assistant Commissioner Development, Joginder Singh Roy was chief guest on the occasion. He also asked the students to follow traffic rules and regulations for avoiding mishap on the road.
ARTO Reasi, Rajesh Gupta and Principal of the Amba Kids School also spoke on the traffic awareness.
Meanwhile, ARTO Rajesh Gupta today conducted surprise checking of vehicles and imposed penalty on a truck and bus for overloading and non-availability of documents, respectively.
