JAMMU, June 11: By defeating Swarn Singh of Kangar in the main bout which lasted for 8 minutes, Wrestler Naresh claimed the title in Annual Showa Kesari Dangal, organized by Showa Dangal Committee, Jammu at Showa, near Mathwar, here today.
State general secretary, BSP, Rakesh Wazir, was the chief guest, who along with Mumtaz Ahmed and Mool Raj distributed prizes among the winners on the occasion.
35 bouts were held in the event, which was participated by the wrestlers from all over India.
Meanwhile, in second main bout, Ravi of Chatha outclassed Arjun of Reti Chabri, while Baj Singh of Ban Batada toppled Mulkh Raj of Akhnoor in the 3rd main bout.
The technical officials who conducted the event included Shiv Ram, Govind Ram, Mool Raj, Rattan Lal and Shonka Ram.
