SRINAGAR, Sept 24: One person was killed and 10 others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said a 40-year-old woman, Haleema wife of Ghulam Mohammad of Rawathpora, Baramulla, was hit by a truck bearing registration number JK09/7074 near State Motor Garages By pass.
She was shifted to SKIMS, Soura where she succumbed to her injuries.
A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK01G/0911 skidded off the road at Ananwan crossing in district Baramulla, resulting in injuries to six passengers. All the injured were shifted to a hospital for treatment.
In another accident, a Tata magic bearing registration number JK09/637 collided with another vehicle at Novpora, resulting in injuries to four passengers. All the injured were shifted to a hospital for treatment.
