Slathia inaugurates development works

SAMBA, Sept 25: MLA & former Minister Surjeet Singh Slathia today inaugurated construction work of lanes and drains by Rural Development Department in village Rara in Vijaypur constituency to be completed at a cost of Rs.5.00 lakh.
He also announced that construction of Nallah will also be taken up soon which will be completed at an estimated cost of Rs.15 lakh.
As per the demands of the people of the area, Mr. Slathia also announced that the black topping of the road from village Rara to Dabuj will also be taken up under NABARD. He issued on spot instructions to the concerned for taking up construction of the Shamshan Ghat Road and bath rooms
While addressing the public meeting, Mr. Slathia cautioned the people against those political parties which have no agenda to present before the people and are resorting to the politics of deceit and lie. The MLA said that J&K has witnessed a tremendous development during the last four and half years and several other projects are in the pipe line. Mr. Slathia said that State & Centre Govt have launched number of flagship programmes and schemes to uplift the socio-economic status of the people particularly living in rural and far flung areas. The officers of District Samba also accompanied the MLA.
