UDHAMPUR, Aug 20: Rehambal Police recovered 10.40 grams of heroin like substance from a narcotic smuggler at Tikri.
During naka checking at Tikri, a police party led by PSI Abdul Satar (Incharge Police post Tikri) intercepted one scooty bearing Registration Number JK14G-7510 and on checking, recovered 10.40 grams of heroin like substance (Chitta) from the possession of rider namely Pankaj Sharma son of Ashok Kumar, resident of Jib (Padanoo).
In this connection, a case FIR Number 194/2022 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Rehambal and the accused was arrested. Further investigation into the case was started.
The overall drive was conducted under the supervison of SSP Udhampur Dr Vinod Kumar.
