POONCH, Aug 22: The police arrested two drug-peddlers and recovered some consignment from their possession in Poonch area today.
Reprts said a police party from Poonch Police Station headed by PSI Shubam Sharma along with other officials during Naka at two different locations at Kanuyian Chowk and Bhainch Poonch, intercepted two persons namely Fayaz Ahmed, son of Mohd Bashir, resident of Gagrian, at present Chandak and Amitpal Singh, son of Ajeet, resident of Ward No. 17, Poonch, recovered 4.5 grams and 4 grams of heroin from their possessions.
In this regard, a case FIR Nos. 180/2022 and 181/2022 U/S 8/21/NDPS Act have been registered at P/S Poonch and investigation taken up.
