BANIHAL, Aug 23: NC district president Ramban, Sajjad Shaheen conducted a weeklong tour of remote villages Neel, Bohardar, Chidwas, Gagoni, Pogal, Maligam, Wagan, Khari, Kawna, Sumar, Harog and Bajmasta in Banihal constituency and took stock of public problems.
The villagers apprised the NC leader about the dilapidated condition of roads, erratic power supply in far flung areas and lack of health care facilities in their villages.
They also complained about scarcity of drinking water in several villages and demanded construction of bridge at Narad over Maligam Nallah besides all weather Bawa to Mangit road that will be connecting majority population living in these villages throughout the year.
Shaheen expressing concern over public problems in remote areas and drew the attention of LG led administration towards public issues.
Arjun Singh, Mohd Arif Wani, Mohd Sulatan Mughal and others accompanied the NC leader.
