KISHTWAR, Aug 26: A special drive was launched by Chatroo Police against traffic rules violators.
The drive was led by SHO Chatroo Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday alongwith his team under the supervision of DySP DAR Zia-Ul-Haq.
During this drive, many vehicles were challaned and seized. Special focus was on overcharging, overloading additional fitted carriers on the vehicles, without Driving licence and fitness certificates.
Drivers and Union Heads were also directed to affix rate list on the vehicles to avoid overcharging.
The rate list as per the ARTO were also distributed among the drivers.
The extra fitted carriers on the vehicles were also removed to avoid overloading and any untoward incident.
