2 women among 4 die of COVID

JAMMU, Aug 26: Two women among four persons died of COVID-19 in the UTs of J&K and Ladakh during past 48 hours while 187 tested positive in J&K today.
A 55-year-old woman from village Supwal in Samba district died of co-morbidities and COVID-19 in the Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu today while 58-year-old female from Dhatryal Marh in Jammu district succumbed to the virus and ailments at Kapoor Max Super Specialty Hospital.
A 38-year-old man from Uttar Pradesh, presently putting up in Bari Brahmana, died of multiple ailments and Coronavirus in the GMC Jammu.
One COVID death was reported from Leh district in the UT of Ladakh today.
Among 187 COVID cases today, 148 were registered in Kashmir and 39 in Jammu.
Meanwhile, Ladakh today reported 22 fresh COVID positive cases including 21 in Leh and one in Kargil.
Ladakh now has 62 active cases—58 in Leh and four in Kargil.
