JAMMU, Aug 28: The J&K Technical Employees Federation of the Power Development Department projected their issues in a state level conference organized here.
The conference was held under the leadership of Zulkarnain Bhat (president) while many members of the core committee from all the district participated and projected the issues of the technical employees of the PDD.
Shakeel Ahmed general secretary and provincial president, HD Singh referred to the issues of the employees regarding issuance of seniority list of Tech-III, stagnation at various levels in the cadre and SRO-149.
Another senior leader Khursheed Ahmed referred to the issue of scrapping of welfare fund order of the employees and said that the employees have contributed from their own salary to the welfare fund but the Government has given them jolt. Many employees are not getting any assistance for long. It was unanimously resolved in the conference that Federation will intensify its struggle for the justice.
