Ritivik adjudged best speaker in symposium

UDHAMPUR, Sept 30: Department of Information Ramnagar organized a Symposium on the Topic “environment Pollution” here today at the Rising Pillar Public High School, Ramnagar.
As many as 10 students of the host school participated in the contest and threw light on the topic.
Principal of the host school, Rajesh Modi was the chief guest on the occasion.
Ritivik Lihra was adjudged 1st, while Ramna Gupta and Riya Kalsotra bagged 2nd and 3rd position respectively.   Ishita and Tanvi were awarded with consolation prize.
Speaking on the occasion, chief guest appreciated the efforts of Information Department to hold such a thought provoking symposium  in the  school. He said that such type of contest   provide a platform to   students to exhibit their abilities and ideas thus helping them to gain confidence.  He urged the department to organize more such programmes in the future also.
Vishal Singh,  Rekha Gupta and  Shobha Devi were the judges during the contest.
Information Department also distributed prizes and certificates among the participants.
