SRINAGAR : The autumn session of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly was extended by one day following a holiday on October 3.
Making the announcement in the House today, speaker Mubarak Gul said since October 3 has been declared as a holiday on the account of Urs of Hazrat Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Wali, the business for that day would be transacted on October 9.
As such the session has been extended by a day. (AGENCIES)
