JAMMU, Sept 12: Member of the Technical Committee of the All India Football Federation (AIFF) and international footballer Arun Malhotra of Jammu today presented title trophies to the winners and runners-up teams of the under-18 Football tournament.
The tournament was organised by the District Sports Department at Pavilion Ground, Dehradun, wherein Arun Malhotra was invited as chief guest of the closing ceremony.
He also interacted with the teams and witnessed the game.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that such events at the District level help identify and tap the talent of young people. He advised the Department to keep on organising such events on a regular interval so as to provide the young footballers a platform to perform and excel.
Serving with ONGC, international footballer from J&K, Arun presently posted at Dehradun.
