POONCH, Sept 19: The police claimed to have traced a missing woman within 24 hours of the incident.
Official sources said that, on Sunday ( Sept 18) one person namely Tasweer Ahmed, son of Nazir Hussain, resident of village Azmabad in Tehsil Mandi approached Police Station Mandi with a written application mentioning there that his wife was missing from home.
On this a missing report was lodged and DySP Headquarter Poonch constituted a team led by SHO Mandi Mukhtiar Ali, assisted by PSI Arun Sharma and others to recover the missing lady. The team swung into the action and with the help of technical assistance of Cyber Cell Poonch recovered the missing woman from Talab Khatikan area of Jammu. After completing all the legal formalities missing woman was handed over to the family.
