108 ‘Kundiya’ Yagya for martyrs being held in Samba

JAMMU, Sept 19: A grand 108 `Kundiya’ Ati Maha Vishnu Yagya is being organized in the memory of the martyrs at Jagannath Temple in Samba on January 26.
The management committee for this grand religious event said that the preparations have been commenced for this Ati Maha Vishnu Yagya which will last for 11 days. Sant Bal Yogeshwar Ji Maharaj while chairing the meeting assigned tasks to various committees framed for the purpose. This will be second Yagya of Ati-Maha Vishnu being held in Samba.
Sant Bal Yogeshwar said that this Yagya is being held in the memory of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives during Kargil war. He disclosed that members of about 500 families of the martyrs will offer special prayers and participate in the Yagya. They include Param Vir Chakra winner Vikram Batra, Param Vir Chakra winner Manoj Pandey, Ajay Singh Jasrotia, Diler Singh Bhau, Dev Raj, Madan Lal, Udayman Singh and many others.
