JAMMU, Sept 20: A twelve-day workshop of In-Service Teachers Training programme from IGNOU culminated at Kawa College of Education, here.
The workshop was designed to help stimulate innovation in teaching and learning approaches using ICT devices. It will help educators to facilitate relearning appropriate pedagogical skills in the exceedingly volatile 21st Century classrooms and learn strategies to make teaching and learning interactive. Educators will discover ways to know students’ progress and difficulties so that they could adapt their work to meet their students’ ever-changing needs.
A thanks giving function was organized by In-Service B.Ed teachers of IGNOU and praised the teaching fraternity of Kawa College of Education for focusing on enabling teachers to reflect critically on perspectives of education and integrate holistically the theory and practices to facilitate active engagement of learners for knowledge creation.
Uday anchored the programme and bonanza of items was presented by them.
Abhimanyu Katoch MD Kawa Group of Colleges spoke on the new education policy and focused on improving teaching education practices in the coming future with the help of technology.
Principal Kawa College Dr Bharti Sharma also addressed the IGNOU teachers on the curriculum development. Seema Mattoo Coordinator appreciated and acknowledged the in service teachers for organizing the programme.
Lovely, Ariti, Sunali, Bharti, Suman and Antara were among the teaching faculty present on this occasion at Kawa College campus.
