JAMMU, Oct 5: Hosts KC Public School emerged champion in the Second Edition of Inter-School Quiz Zone 2013, launched by the school in its premises, here.
Defending champion, Army Public School Nagrota remained as the runners-up as it lost narrowly in the finals.
13 CBSC affiliated schools of Jammu and adjoining towns took part in the contest, which is the second Inter-School annual event hosted by KCPS, the first being the Shakuntala Devi Basketball Tournament held in 2011.
The participating schools included KCPS, Heritage School, MHAC Nagbani, GD Goenka, Sainik School Nagrota, APS Nagrota, APS Akhnoor, APS Damana, JP World School, Stephens International School, Presentation Convent and Mahavir International School.
Around 300 students from various schools formed the responsive audience to cheer their school teams with enthusiasm.
Dr Arti Bakshi, HoD, Psychology, University of Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion, who presented trophy to winners and certificates to the participants on the occasion.
