JAMMU, Oct 3: Khalsa Hockey Club and Dashmesh Hockey Club registered wins in the 1st Olympian Balbir Singh (Sr) Memorial Hockey Tournament by defeating Bandhu Rakh and MBS Hockey Club, organised by Hockey J&K at KK Hakku Stadium, here today.
The semi-final match was played between Khalsa Hockey Club and Bandhu Rakh Hockey Club Jammu in which the former registered a win by 3 goals to 2. Supinder Deep Singh Bakshi (Executive Member Hockey J&K) was the chief guest of the match.
The 2nd match was played between MBS Hockey Club and Dashmesh Hockey Club Nanak Nagar in which Dashmesh Hockey Club won the match by 3-2. Brigadier NK Pandey was the chief guest of the match who introduced both the teams.
The match was officiated by Sahil Kumar, Tanishpreet Singh and Angat Singh, while Jaspreet Singh was the Tournament Director.
