JAMMU, Oct 5: Bawa Jeeto Cricket Club entered into finals of the ongoing Bunty Slathia Memorial Cricket Tournament by beating Chenab Cricket Club, being played at Nagbani, here today.
Bawa Jeeto won the toss and elected to bat first. Batting first, Bawa Jeeto CC made 152 runs by losing 9 wickets in stipulated 20 overs, wherein Ajay made 52 runs, while Neelu contributed 33 runs. From the bowling side, Sanjay and Arun took 2 wickets each.
In reply, Chenab CC bundled out at only 63 runs in 13 overs. From the bowling side, Puchi took 4 wickets and registered a win with a huge margin of 90 runs.
Puchi was declared as man of the match for his outstanding bowling spell and took 4 wickets. The match was officiated by Amit Gill, Ashok Singh and Sumit Matoo.
