SRINAGAR, Oct 7: The Government today announced that the annual examination of classes from 1-9 will be held in the March-April session.
In an order issued here by the School Education Department, it has been stated that sanction has been given to the implementation of a Uniform Academic Calendar as well as the conduct of annual examinations in the March-April session for classes up to 9th standard in all the Government and Government recognized Private Schools in Jammu and Kashmir.
“It is further ordered that new admissions shall commence from March of the calendar year,” the order said.
Earlier, the DSEK had stated that a proposal for the conduct of exams in March was submitted to the Government for the necessary approval.
