KISHTWAR, Oct 8: Deputy Commissioner, Devansh Yadav inaugurated 25th UT level ITF Taekwondo Championship, here today.
More than 100 participants including boys and girls from both the divisions are taking part in the two day championship. This first-ever championship in Kishtwar is being organized by All J&K Taekwondo Association under the supervision of Mukesh Thakur (4th Dan Black Belt, International Gold Medallist), president-AJKTA.
The mega event was also witnessed by RK Verma (6th Dan Black Belt), national president IITF along with other officials including Pawan Singh Jamwal, Sachin Kumar, Geetansh Thakur, Surjeet Kumar and Parvinder Kumar.
BDC of Palmar, Lalita Devi was also present during the opening ceremony.
