J&K runners participate in ‘Sikh Half Marathon’

JAMMU, Oct 9: Eleven runners of Jammu and Kashmir participated in the ‘Super Sikh Half Marathon at Jalandhar, today.
More than 4000 runners participated from different parts of India including 11 runners from the J&K, wherein Vijay Sharma from Jammu finished the HM race in 1 hour, 35 minutes and secured first position in (35 to 45 years) age category.
The other runners who participated from J&K were Surinder Kanhaiya HM (1 hr, 44 minutes), Vishal Kapoor HM (2 hours), Harmeek Singh HM (2 hrs, 8 minutes), Dr Gautam Tackoo HM (2 hrs, 15 minutes), Col R K Sharma HM (2 hrs, 20 minutes), Sukhpal Singh HM (2 hrs, 28 minutes), Amarjeet Singh 10K (51 minutes), Bhisham Gupta 10K (58 minutes), Raghav Samrat 10K (59 minutes) and Vikrant Khajuria 10K (63 minutes).
