JAMMU, Oct 7: The Department of Chemistry, Government Gandhi Memorial (GGM) Science College, Jammu organized a Quiz Competition in the College premises, here today.
Dr Satinder Singh, Principal of the College was the chief guest on the occasion, who while speaking highlighted importance of such Competitions and importance of Chemistry in daily life.
HoD Chemistry, Dr Ashok Bhagat presented welcome address, while, Convener of the Quiz, Dr Suresh Bhat conducted proceedings of the programme.
Prof RS Jamwal and Prof DS Manhas assisted in organizing the event, while Prof Shradha Anand presented vote of thanks.
The programme was anchored by Dr Puja Sharma, while Mohd Sadeeq and Prof Sunil Bhat were the scorers.
Six teams with four participants each took part in the Quiz, in which Team A including Sadam Hussain, Lakhvinder Singh, Jeevan Singh and Ankush Kumar were declared winners, while Team B comprising of Mohd Sadeeq, Heminder Singh, Haroon Rashid and Tejinder Sharma emerged runners-up in the Competition.
