BANDIPORA, Oct 11: District Table Tennis Championship, organised by District Association, concluded at SK Stadium, here today.
SHO Bandipora, Aashiq Hussain was the chief guest, while Manager Sports Stadium, Shabir Ahmed Khan, vice president BCI, Fayaz Ahmed and Mohd Rafeeq president Hashmee Cricket Club were the guests of honour.
In senior category, Junaid Iqbal thrashed Shoiab Khoja by 3-2, while in junior boys, Imran Ramzan defeated Muntasib Jan by 3-1 and in junior girls, Umi Ruman beat Rutba Jan by 3-1, besides in sub junior boys, Hatim Hassan defeated Shoaib Rafiq by 3-2 and in sub junior girls, Rutba Bashir trounced Nargis Bano by 3-2.
This tournament was organised in collaboration with J&K Sports Council under the aegis of J&K Table Tennis Association under the initiative of ‘My Youth My Pride’.
