Four injured in road mishaps, two injured in assault

JAMMU, Oct 12: Four persons were injured today in two separate road accidents occurred in city outskirts while two persons sustained injuries in an assault case in Pargwal area falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Akhnoor.
According to the reports, a motorcycle collided with a car at Panama Chowk. In the mishap, two persons were injured and one of them critically. The critically injured person was identified as Amarjeet Singh (35) of Qasim Nagar and the other was identified as Aakash Verma (23) son of Parshotam Lal of Gorkha Nagar (Bahu Fort).
Another mishap occurred at Malika Maira under the jurisdiction of Police Station Domana, where a car hit a scooty. Two persons were injured in the mishap and they were identified as Deepika (27) daughter of Ashok Kumar and Sonakshi (25) daughter of Pawan Sharma, both residents of Ganjochak (Gajansoo).
Meanwhile, two persons were hurt in an assault case at Najwal (Pargwal). They were identified as Gulab Singh (30) son of Rasal Singh and Arjun Singh (32) son of Mohinder Singh, both residents of Najwal (Pargwal).
All the six injured persons were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for medical treatment while concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter in all three cases.
