jammu, Oct 18: Getting the better of Milchar Sanskar Cricket Club Faridabad by 41 runs in the summit clash, Bigboys Cricket Club lifted the title trophy of Sharda Peeth Cricket Championship, organised by Milchar Sanskar Cricket Club at Faridabad today.
Batting first, Bigboys Cricket Club scored a good total of 180 runs in the stipulated 20 overs.
In reply, Milchar Sanskar Cricket Club bundled out for 139 runs, thus lost the match by 41 runs.
For his brilliant all-round show, Akshit Raina was adjudged as the man of the match, while Ashwani Pandita got the best bowler award.
Founder member of Save Sharda Committee, Ravinder Pandita and founder of KPL, Ajay Pandita were the chief guests on this occasion. Sponsors Gasha Ji Pandita and Digamber Raina were also part of this mission.
Ajay said the tournament concluded with great spirit and religious fervour.
Both the dignitaries threw light on current scenario and future Yatra planning to the Mata Sharda Temple under construction at Teetwal Kashmir.
The winners and the runners-up teams were awarded with trophies and pictures of Maa Sharda Devi.
On this occasion, Milchar Sanskar Cricket Club Faridabad donated an amount of Rs 51000 towards the ongoing construction of temple.
