APS Srinagar emerges runner’s up in debate competition

SRINAGAR, Oct 10: Army Public School (APS), Srinagar was declared first runner’s up in the debate competition titled ‘Are Social Networking Sites making us Anti-Social’. It also received the first runner’s up position in the Hindi debate on the topic (Media Protector of Democracy).
The English team of the school was represented by Darakshan Sajad of class X, Hibba Ishtiyaq of class IX and Tabish Khan of   XI Science while the members of Hindi team were; Tavleen Kour of XI Science, Mega Dhar of X Class and Arshjot Singh of XI Science. Tavleen Kaur also won the best speaker award.
The debate competition was held at APS Udhampur in which APS Srinagar, APS Udhampur, APS Nagrota, APS  Dhar Road, APS Akhnoor and APS Rukhmuthi participated.
Principal APS Srinagar,  Sandeep Marhatta congratulated the teams and expressed the hope that the school will be No. 1 in all fields of educational and extra-curricular activities in the coming years.
