RAMNAGAR, Oct 10: The Department of Information, Ramnagar organized a debate contest on the topic “TV; a Friend or Foe” in the premises of Government Higher Secondary School, Chowki Jandrore in tehsil Ramnagar of district Udhampur today.
As many as, 10 students of the host school participated in the contest and put their views on the topic.
Vice Principal of the host school, Manohar Lal was the chief guest of the occasion.
Farid Ali of 11th class adjudged first while Renu Devi of 10th and Kajol Bharti of 10th stood 2nd and 3rd respectively in the debate contest while Pankaj Rasyal and Ghar Singh both of 9th class were awarded with consolation prize.
Gardhari Lal (Master), Lecture, Sudesh Kumar and Dr. Rash Paul Singh acted as judges during the contest.
Information Department also distributed prizes and certificates among the participants.
