JAMMU, Oct 10: Nav Yug Higher Secondary School today celebrated its 24th Foundation Day with great zeal and enthusiasm in the School premises, here.
On this occasion, “a talent show” was organized in which about 165 students from class 1st to 10th participated in different competitions like dance, singing, jokes telling, mimicry and skit and drama.
There were three groups for this competition including Senior Group for students of class 8th to 10th , Junior Group for 4th to 7th class and Sub Junior Group for 1st to 3rd class.
Paritosh Chowdhary, Anita Narang and Preetika Jamwal were the judges on the occasion.
In Dance Competition of Sub Junior Group, 1st prize went to Divyanshi , 2nd prize was bagged by Mriganka whereas 3rd prize was shared by Riya Gupta and Mehak.
In Junior Group, Tanya, Siya and Shanvi got 1st , 2nd and 3rd prize respectively, while in Senior Group, Divya and Praduman shared 1st prize, the 2nd prize went to Akshima, Diksha and Abhirudh got 2nd prize,while Tanya and Harshita got the 3rd prize.
In Singing Competition of Sub Junior Group, Mayuresh and Vashu got 1st and 2nd prize, whereas Krishna got 3rd prize, while Mehakdeep, Shruti and Parshant of Junior Group got 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize and in Senior Group, Aakshi fetched 1st prize Sanjali got 3rd prize,
In Jokes Telling Competition, Abhijet and Kartvaya of class 2nd got 3rd and 2nd prize while Ayush Bhat of class 7th got 1st prize.
In Mimicry Competition , Rashi of class 7th was declared winner, while in Skit/Drama Competition, Punnet, Reshiwar and Abhay of class 9th were declared winner.
Prizes and certificates were distributed among the winners and runners up by Hardev Singh Jamwal, Managing Director of the School.
