Police recovers 250 stolen live stocks

KISHTWAR, Oct 10: Police today recovered stolen live stock (sheep and goats) from Sarwal Dhar area, falling under the jurisdiction of Chatroo Police Station.
A police spokesman said that, Dewan Chand, son of Jodh Ram Thakur of Gunderna Tagood and Noor Hussain, son of Qasim Gujjar of Balana Sigdi lodged a complaint with Police Station Chatroo that some unidentified persons entered their dhok at Gugunar Tagood, beat them severely and decamped with 250 live stocks (sheep and goats).
After registering a case under FIR number 92/2013 and under Sections 392, 458, 148 and 323 RPC at Police Station Chatroo, police started investigation, he said.
On specific inputs, police party from Chatroo Police Station recovered the live stock from Sarwal Dhar area, he said, adding that the thieves managed to escape from the spot.
A manhunt has been launched to arrest the thieves, he added.
