KCPS students attend seminar on ‘Military History’

JAMMU, Oct 31: Eleven students of KC Public School (KCPS) attended the two day seminar on ‘Military History’, organised by Welham Boys’ School Dehradun on October 28 and 29.
The students who participated in the seminar were Medhaj Pathania, Adhiraj Gaurav Jamwal, Sharanya Salathia, Prabhjot Singh, Arpit Gandotra, Shivam Raina, Suhani Bhalla, Dyuti Sharma, Daksheer Gupta, Asmita Gupta and Aditi Dhar. They were escorted by Inderjit Kour and Ajay Thappa.
Welham Boys’ School hosted the 6th edition of this prestigious ‘Military History Seminar’ in real time after a gap of two years, wherein more than 25 schools participated from across the country.
Extremely eminent retired personalities from defence services and other fields were invited as keynote speakers including Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria, Admiral Karambir Singh, Air Vice Marshal Bahadur Manmohan, Lt Gen Mohinder Puri, Lt Gen PC Bhardwaj, Lt Gen Harinder Singh, Lt Gen KJ Singh, Lt Gen Shankar Prasad, Maj Gen Jagatbir Singh and Col Ajay K Raina.
Kcean Medhaj Pathania excelled in his syndicate and was selected for the panel discussions with Lt Gen Shankar Prasad, Maj Gen Jagatbir Singh, Maj Gen Mohinder Puri, Air Vice Marshal Bahadur Manmohan, Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria and Admiral Karambir Singh on the theme of ‘Russia-Ukraine’ crisis.
A wide range of topics related to military events in India and the world were discussed during the seminar which was moderated by well-known media personality Shiv Kumar Verma. Student delegates from all the participating schools were given the opportunity to express their views.
