RAMBAN, Nov 2: Police arrested two absconders, who were at large from the past two years.
As per official sources, on specific information a team from Police Post Jawahar Tunnel led by PSI Harish Kumar under the supervision of SHO Banihal Inspector Mohammad Afzal Wani, SDPO Banihal Nisar Ahmad Khoja and SP Ramban Mohita Sharma conducted raid and apprehended two absconders from Ramban, who were evading their arrest from the past two years.
The accused were identified as Gurjeet Singh, son of Amit Kumar of Gurharsahai, Ferozpur Punjab and Joginder Singh, son of Kartar Singh of Nadana, Ferozpur, Punjab.
They were wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 179/2020 under Section 8/15 NDPS Act with Police Station Banihal.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
