Dr Vikas conferred ‘Fellow Society Award’

JAMMU, Nov 4: Dr Vikas Gupta, son of Kulbushan Gupta and Aruna Gupta, resident of Jawahar Nagar-Udhampur got Fellow Society Award-2022 in the International Conference “Existing Climate Change Scenario and its Arising Risks” on October 21-22.
The conference was organized in collaboration with Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology Jammu and Mahima Research Foundation and Social Welfare-Varanasi.
The award was presented to Dr Vikas Gupta by Vice Chancellor SKUAST-Jammu, Prof JP Sharma. The event was chaired by Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Kailash Choudhary, Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma, Atal Dhullo (Financial Commissioner), Prof Nazeer Ahmed Ganai Vice Chancellor, SKUAST Kashmir and Prof. A. Mushunje (Head, Department of Agricultural Economics & Extension, University of Fort Hare, South Africa).
Dr Vikas Gupta is working as Senior Assistant Professor (Plant Pathology), SKUAST-Kashmir and has been conferred award for his outstanding contribution and recognition in the field of research and extension regarding mushroom cultivation, spawn production, bio-control agents, vermicompost and organic farming.
