RAJOURI, Oct 12: Two boys arrested by Rajouri police in connection with the alleged attack on two brothers from other community were released by police on personal surety by the family members today while bandh being observed in the town for the last one week has been called off.
Even in the evening the traders opened some shops and from tomorrow the entire market will be opened. The issue was today resolved after meeting with the administration and some leaders and family members of the alleged accused. Later, on the personal surety of the mediating leaders and the family members, the police released the arrested two boys.
A senior leader from BJP in Rajouri when contacted claimed that Rajouri bandh has been called off as the arrested boys have been released. He said from tomorrow onwards, the shops will be opened in the town.
