SRINAGAR, Oct 14: Kashmir Government Polytechnic College, Gogji Bagh, Srinagar organized a 3-day Inter-Departmental Sports competition here.
The Principal, Kashmir Government Polytechnic College, Srinagar, Er Firdous Ahmad was chief guest on the occasion.
In the final match of cricket, Mechanical Engineering Department defeated Electronics and Communication Engineering Department by a margin of 52 runs. Mohammad Iqbal student of E&C Engineering department remained the highest scorer and Waseem Malla as the highest wicket taker.
In Volleyball final Electrical Engineering Department defeated Computer Engineering along with Er. Tufail Mohammad handed over the trophies to winners and runners up teams.
Later, Mohammad Shafi Wani (PEM) of this Institution thanked the Principal and other Head of Departments for their cooperation in making the meet a success.
