Inquiry ordered into unauthorized B’desh visit by College Prof

JAMMU, Nov 15: Higher Education Department has ordered an inquiry into the unauthorized overseas visit by an Associate Professor of Government Degree College Bemina to Bangladesh and her subsequent unauthorized absence for two months.
The said Associate Professor of English, Irfana Rasool, had visited Bangladesh during Winter Vacation without the prior permission of Administrative Department and joined back nearly two months after conclusion of the vacation period.
According to an order in this regard, Sushil Khajuria, Additional Secretary in the Higher Education Department and Nodal Principal Kashmir have been appointed as the Inquiry Officers. They shall conduct an inquiry regarding the overseas visit, subsequent unauthorized absence and joining back duties by Irfana Rasool. The Inquiry Officers will submit the report within 15 days.
