6 students of Bharti PHS selected to represent J&K in Wushu Championship

JAMMU, Oct 15: Six students of Bharti Public High School, Bari Brahmna have got the selectors nod to represent the State in the 13th National Sub Junior Wushu Championship to be held in Karnataka from October 17 to October 20, 2013.
The students include Shivani, Diksha Gupta, Rupali Gandhi,   Sonia Kumari, Manjay Kumar and Ganesh Gupta.
They are part of the 16-member team of J&K which left for Karnataka to participate in the Championship.
The selected players attributed their success to support provided to them by Kuldeep Handoo, secretary J&K Wushu Association and Jarpal Singh, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Samba, besides their coach Rajinder Singh.
K S Jamwal,  chairman Jamwal Educational Trust and Pooja Jamwal, Principal of the school lauded the achievement of the players and coach.
