District Ju-Jitsu C’ship concludes

JAMMU, Nov 17: Tenth (10th) District Jammu Ju-Jitsu Championship, organised by District Ju-Jitsu Association concerned under ‘My Youth My Pride’, concluded at Sports Council’s Hall Bhagwati Nagar, here today.
Around 350 students participated from International Delhi Public School -Jammu , GD Goenka Public School , KC International School, BSF School, Carmel Convent School , Army Public School BD Bari , Ultimax Fight Club, United Martial Arts Club, Deewan Devi Hr. Sec. School, Army Public School, Kaluchak and Shastri Judo Club.
The championship provided a perfect platform to the participants to showcase their performance and hone their skills. The main aim of the tournament was to provide all round fitness and extraordinary skills in the students and to engage maximum youth in the sports.
Tarsem Sharma-general secretary- Ju-Jitsu Association of J&K declared the event open, while in the closing ceremony- CA Lalit Kumar Gupta president District Association was the chief guest.
Amit Singh, Rameshwar Jamwal, Ritika and Syed Azhar Jawad-Head Technical (TSI) were the special guests. The whole championship was technically supervised by Danish Sharma – Technical Director Ju-Jitsu Association of J&K along with officials Harsh Vardhan Raina, Rudrakshit Gupta, Manish Gill, Mannat Angral, Jaspreet Kaur, Eshaan Saini, Anirudh Verma, Rohini Chib, Dr Hancy Sharma, Dr Divya Sarotia, Dr Imran Khan, Amrita, Shruti and Pranvi.
