POONCH, Nov 17: Sham Lal Hockey Club (SLHC) won the women’s final of Hockey tournament, organised by Indian Army in celebration 75th Pooch Link-up Day at Hockey Astro Turf Ground, here today.
SLHC defeated Khelo India Hockey Centre in shootout by 3 goals to nil after the match remained a draw in stipulated time with 1-1 goal.
Narjeet Singh (Retd ZPEO), Sukhbir Singh (PEM), Ruchika Sharma Hockey coach and Rishab Sharma were present on the occasion.
The finals match in the men’s category will be held tomorrow.
The match was officiated by Rajinder Singh Toofan, Kawaldeep Singh, Harmik Singh, Sunil Raina and Mohd Shokat.
The tournament is being organised by Indian Army in collaboration with J&K Sports Council, Hockey J&K & DYSS which was technically supervised by Mukesh Kumar and Navjot Singh (Hockey coaches)
