JAMMU, Nov 19: A two day long 13th UT level Open Speedball Championship was declared open at Indoor Sports Complex of International Delhi Public School, here today.
The championship is organised by International Delhi Public School in collaboration with J&K Sports Speedball Association wherein about 600 players from various districts namely (Shaurya International School, Shiksha Niketan School Gandhi Nagar and Jeevan Nagar, RM Public School, Humanity Public School, Mount Litera Zee School, Jammu Sanskriti School, Dogra Hr. Sec. School are participating in the championship.
Balwant Singh Mankotia (BJP leader) was the chief guest of the inaugural ceremony; while Pooja Malhotra (founder patron JKSSB) was the special guest and Suminder Singh (MD Operations IDPS), and Swarn Singh Choudhary (MD Finance) were the guests of honour.
Sunny Nanda (General Secretary JKSSB), Randeep Wazir (Principal IDPS) and Madhu Abrol (School Manager) were also present during the event.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, BS Mankotia applauds the efforts of School management as well as the J&K Sports Speedball Association for organising the tournament for the upcoming budding players.

The matches were officiated by Anju Devi, Stuti Bhougal, Prachi, Mridhu, Sonika, Sanvi, Pranshi and Muskan.
