MENDHAR, Nov 19: Mankot Rising Stars lifted the title of Balnoi Premier League, organised by Balnoi Battalion under the aegis of Krishna Ghati Brigade at Kalidhar Stadium, here today.
The final match was played between Mankote Rising Stars and Brother Stars Ghani. Brothers Star Ghani raised a fighting total of 168 with the exceptional performance of Mohd Zahid who scored 89 of 48 balls.
Mankote Rising Stars were initially struggling at 18 runs for 4 wickets in 4 overs. However, the fifth wicket partnership took control of the game and chased the target in just 18 overs with startling performances of Ajaz Shoka and Amber Hussain who scored 79 and 73 runs respectively.
The man of the series award was presented to Kaleem Manhas of Rising Stars.
Many Army and civil officials were present during the felicitation ceremony.
