Army hosts tour for KV students

REASI, Oct 16: To aware about the difficulties being faced by the local students due to rugged terrain and harsh weather conditions, Counter Insurgency Force (Uniform) hosted five day tour for 20 students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, New Delhi to Mahore Sub Division.
The participants are accompanied by the Principal of the school and two teachers.
The touring party had reached Jammu and had holy darshan at Vaishno Mata. They also had a fun filled picnic at Sehar Baba, Talwara, before moving to Mahore, where they were received by the Deputy Commander, Headquarters Sector Rashtriya Rifles.
The visiting students also celebrated Eid with the local populace of Mahore, today. They were invited for lunch by MLA Abdul Gani Malik at his residence in Bagga.
MLA interacted with the students and the teachers and gave a patient hearing to their experiences of Mahore.
He mentioned about the pivotal role played by the Army in the various developmental projects undertaken in Mahore.
A number of interactive sessions have been planned with the students and NCC Cadets of Mahore in the next couple of days.
