KATRA, Oct 16: Devs Kids World School Kundorian, (DKWSK) Katra celebrated its 9th Annual Day function at The Spiritual Growth Centre Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Auditorium.
The function began with lighting a lamp by the chief guest in presence of the Harish Kumar Dubey ZEO Pouni, Dr RS Pathania, Dr Gopal Dut (BMO Katra), Dr Chander Mahan, Gopal Krishan Komal Headmaster National Awardee, RS Manhas (Retd Headmaster), Mrs Sushma Devi, Vipanan Kumar (vice president management committee Devs Kids World School) Ajay Gupta (Secretary Private School Association Jammu Province), Th Ghansara Singh (Principal Evergreen Model Academy Kun Katra), Sudeshwar Sharma, Vinit Gupta, Jatinder Heera (Prinicipal Saraswati Vidya Mandir Katra) and Mrs Sharda Devi (Principal of host school).
Tehsildar Reasi Rajeev Magotra was the chief guest who congratulated the Management and staff members for taking keen interest for all round development of the students.
Mrs Sharda presented welcome address and Mrs Meenakshi Mahajan presented annual report and highlighted the academic and athletics achievements of the year.
A colourful cultural programme was presented on the occasion besides Fancy dress competition in which three best students Vrinda, Madhav Dubey, Sargam got 1st, 2nd , 3rd prize respectively.
The Management of the school also honoured some local persons for outstanding contribution in their respective fields.
Chief guest gave away the prizes to the winner of different events besides management also presented momentos to the chief guest and guest of honour.
