JAMMU, Nov 20: Four runners from J&K participated in the first edition of Super Sikh Chandigarh Half Marathon (Bhag-Chandigarh-Bhag), today.
In this marathon, more than 3000 runners participated from different parts of India including Vishal Kapoor from Jammu finished the half marathon race with clock timing 1 hour, 57 minutes under (45 to 55 years) age category.
The other runners who participated in the half marathon were Sukhpal Singh -Secretary Water Resources Regulatory Authority and completed the race (2 hrs, 19 minutes), under age category (45 to 55 years), Dr Deepak Tickoo (Ortho) completed the marathon with timing (2 hrs, 10 minutes) under age category (55 to 65 years) and Colonel RK Sharma finished it with clock timing (2 hrs, 18 minutes) under age category (55 to 65).
