Srinagar, Nov 23: The District Baseball Championship organized by the Srinagar District Baseball Association under ‘My Youth My Pride Initiative’ of J&K Sports Council concluded today with the award distribution ceremony held here.
The Championship was held under the banner of the Amateur Baseball Federation of India which was held at the Gindun Sports Stadium Rajbagh in which 8 teams participated.
Firdous Baba, Patron J&K Baseball Association was the chief guest at the concluded function and distributed medals among the winners.
Hilal Ahmad, Manager of the Stadium along with Gulzar Ahmad as well as Firdous Ahmad, Secretary, of the Srinagar District Baseball Association was also present at the concluded function.
Appreciating the sports talent of budding players they exhibited during the event, Baba encouraged them to pay focused attention to their game and work hard to achieve more success.
He thanked District Srinagar Baseball Association which provided the opportunity for players to showcase their talent.
