JAMMU, Nov 23: Ladakh Lieutenant Governor RK Mathur today appointed six members to the Ladakh Union Territory Haj Committee.
Appointments have been made for a period of three years.
The members include Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, MP Ladakh, Mirza Hussain, Councillor Chuchot constituency, Mohammad Ali Chandan, Councillor Shargole, Mohammad Ali Majaz of Choskore, Kargil, Zaheer Hussain Babar, Ward Member, Municipal Committee Kargil and Nazir Ahmad of Saboo, Leh.
A Deputy Secretary level officers to be nominated by the administration will act as Executive Officer Haj Committee. He shall also be an ex-officio member of the Committee.
