SRINAGAR, Oct 17: In a tragic accident in Baramulla, a motorcyclist along with his two pillion riders were killed when he collided with a Tata Sumo vehicle.
Police said that a motorcycle bearing registration number JK05A/8206 collided with a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05B/4005 at Shrakwara Kreeri, Baramulla, resulting in on spot death of three persons who were on the motorcycle.
The dead have been identified has Hilal Ahmed son of Mohammad Shafi Dar, Bilal Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Hassan and Muzamil son of Bashir Ahmad Dar, all residents of Delina Baramulla.
Reports said that they were on their way to distribute the meat of sacrificed animal when they met with an accident. A pall of gloom descended at Delina village when their bodies reached home.
Hundreds of people took part in their last rites. Police have registered a case.
