Making voting compulsory

Sir,
Giving voters right to negative voting and empowering them to reject all candidates is a landmark verdict. The historic verdict seeks to change the rules of the game.
As a fact of matter people who do not like any candidate, people who are lazy and do not understand the value of their votes and the people who have lost faith in elections because of religion, region and caste based politics deliberately stay away from polls.
This trend gives rise to low voting percentage which is not a healthy sign for our democracy.
So in order to ensure greater participation of electorate and involvement of all sections of our society, there is urgent need to make voting compulsory.
More over the right to reject will prove meaningless and purposeless if voting is not made compulsory for every citizen of this country.
Yours etc….
