REASI, Oct 18: Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti J&K, organized its Annual Science Exhibition at BVM HS, here.
150 students, drawn from the districts of Ramban, Doda, Udhampur, Kathua, Samba and the host Reasi participated in the Exhibition alongwith the Science teachers.
The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest MLA Reasi, Baldev Raj Sharma, while Headmaster Romal Singh was the guest of honour.
Ram Lal Sharma, working president of Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti J&K was the main speaker.
50 models were displayed by the young Scientists of Class 4th to Class 10th students.
On the spot practical demonstration, Science quiz, Sanskriti Gyan, Pariksha quiz and paper reading was also organized in the programme.
BVM Ambphalla bagged first place in Science quiz in sub junior category, while BVM Ramban claimed first place in junior and senior category.
In paper reading, BVMs Udhampur, Ramban and Hira Nagar bagged first three positions respectively.
In Sanskriti Gyan Pariksha, BVM Thathi, Udhampur claimed first position in sub junior and junior category, while BVM Hira Nagar claimed first position in senior category.
In Science models, BVMs Talab Tilloo, Dadwara, Ramban, Udhampur and Reasi were declared first by the adjudicators. The adjudicators included Lecturers Dara Singh and Vipin and Headmaster Kuldeep Khajuria.
The Quiz masters were Lecturers Vikram Singh, Seema and Abhishek.
Kuldeep Kumar Khajuria was the chief guest on the valedictory function, while Krishan Dutt presided over the function.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Pradeep Singh, Prant Vigyan Pramukh.
