KCS College organizes extension lecture on career counseling

JAMMU, Oct 19: KCS College of Education (Women) organized an extension lecture, in which students and faculty members participated.
On the occasion, Dr Chand Trehan, working as Capacity Building Officer, University of Jammu delivered lecture on “Need of Career Counselling for the students in 21st century”.
Dr Trehan said that world today is in the grip of liberalization, privatization, industrialization and globalization. Changing scenario has created market for the employable who possess new skill, she added.
The role of career counseling is eminent in today’s world and we have to find a way to awaken the parents, teachers and society.
Earlier, Prof Romesh Verma presented the welcome address and in the end, Prof OP Sharma, Principal proposed vote of thanks.
